A – The embarkation time is usually 15.00 hrs on the first day of the charter but we always try our utmost to make this earlier. Disembarkation time is 10.00 hrs on the final day of your charter.
A- The vessels are fully cleaned and prepared for you arrival; All bed linen including sheets, pillows, shower towels, hand towels, tea towels and a hairdryer. All our vessels are full y equipped with all kitchen equipment, plates, glasses, pans, cutlery and utensils. Navigation aids including local charts and pilot books, ships equipment instructions manuals. Allocated Private mooring in Cala Llonga. For more than a week’s charter a linen change is provided. If more regular changes of towels/linen are required this can be arranged and charged to your account.
A- From the time you arrive at Mahon airport we are there to assist you. We greet you at the airport and help you board the vessel. During your stay our Quaysport staff are there to advise and help you with any issues be it recommending the best bays to visit or restaurants. A weather forecast is available each day. Each morning we are always present on the jetty for you to ask any questions or for us to recommend destinations for that day.
A- Each vessel is fully fueled at the start of your charter. You have a choice of re-fueling on your last day and we then re-fuel and calculate the fuel charge from your deposit. Alternatively, you can refuel yourself and be returned the Full Fuel deposit.
A- All of our Charter vessel are fully inspected, licensed for commercial use and comply with both UK and local Spanish regulations, which require full safety equipment on board to include – Extra Lifejackets, Liferaft, Fire Extinguishers, Flares and Signals, Life Horseshoes, binoculars and many more items which are listed onboard.
A- Menorca is very safe cruising area with a few shallow rock hazards which are clearly marked on the navigation charts. We will also advise each day of where to cruise to depending on the weather and point out where to avoid.
A- The only extras you should expect to have is the Diesel Fuel. The advantage of where we are based if that you do not have to travel far each day to find the best beaches.
A- Menorca is very different from Mallorca and not just because it has managed to escape the worst ravages of mass tourism. Most of Menorca is still very rural and the best way to discover the island is by boat; with white sands and clear turquoise waters within secluded bays this island is a carefully guarded secret.
